Dear Husbands
Choose Peace
When tempests rise within the home and harsh words strain the air, Stand fast, my brothers, hold your ground: not every call is a war to bear.
For strength is more than lifted voice or pride that will not yield; A wiser man will sheath his tongue and choose the gentler field.
The world may praise the iron hand, the quick retort, the will of stone; But Christ has shown the better road: a peace that rules the heart alone.
So let your household learn from you the quiet courage of restraint, The calm that settles restless winds, the mercy born without complaint.
For husbands, know your greatest fight is not to win, but to restore. A man who guards his home with peace: is mightier than one who wins a war.
